As a veteran, I know how heavy the silence can be. In the military community, talking about mental health is often seen as weakness, but I’ve learned that opening up is one of the strongest things you can do.
Crisis Text Line has been that safe space for me before. It’s a place where real people are on the other side, listening when it feels like nobody else can. That human connection has made all the difference, and it’s something I want others to know exists too.
